Kate Barranco (she/her) is currently based in Madrid, Spain, where she serves as the Network and Storytelling Coordinator at the Wellbeing Project. She is a recent graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, holding a degree in Foreign Service, with a strong focus on Culture, Politics, and Cognitive Science. Prior to her role at the Wellbeing Project, Kate dedicated two years to research initiatives at Georgetown University's Red House, focusing on the intricate nexus between intergenerational trauma, wellbeing, and social change. Throughout her academic journey and into her professional career, Kate has been deeply engrossed in pioneering work related to ecological belonging and other significant subjects such as systemic social change.
